# Persian Music Scales

> Persian Music Scales is an interactive educational and research-oriented web application created by Pouya Hosseini for exploring Persian music theory, microtonal pitch structures, transposition, tuning, predominant-melody extraction and candidate scale recognition.

The application represents selected Persian pitch collections using a circular mapping in which 1200 cents corresponds to 360 degrees. These representations are educational models and should not be interpreted as complete definitions of dastgah or gusheh identity.
